Birding in northeastern Prince Edward Island is an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding experience. The forests, fields, ponds, and coasts of our area provide habitat for a wide variety of resident and migratory bird species. On this page you will find information on many of our common bird species, as well as links to more detailed species accounts. 139 species are considered at least possible breeders in our region, and many others visit throughout the year.
